About the role

This is a full-desk sales role for an experienced energy professional who can own the whole process, from generating leads through to closing and managing their own clients. You'll need at least a year in both sales and energy brokerage, because you'll be quoting, negotiating with suppliers, and putting contracts in front of decision makers from early on. If you're resilient, self-motivated, and want the autonomy to run your own book, this is where that pays off. You'll start with a structured induction into our process, systems, and supplier relationships, so you can get up to speed on how Purely Energy works. From there you run your own desk: generating leads, qualifying opportunities, and managing your own pipeline, with coaching and market support always on hand. As a consultant you own the full cycle: preparing quotations, negotiating rates and terms with suppliers, producing contracts, and closing the deal with the business. You then manage and grow those accounts beyond the initial contract, which is where the strongest consultants build the recurring relationships that drive their earnings.

What you'll do

  • Generating qualified leads through outbound calls and emails
  • Identifying and engaging key decision makers
  • Building rapport quickly and clearly communicating Purely Energy's value
  • Preparing quotations and comparing rates across our network of over 30 suppliers
  • Negotiating rates and terms with suppliers to secure the best outcome for the client
  • Producing contracts and presenting them to businesses to close the deal
  • Managing and growing your own client accounts beyond the initial contract
  • Maintaining accurate records of calls, quotes, contracts, and outcomes
  • Consistently hitting your lead generation and sales targets

What we look for

  • At least one year of sales experience and at least one year in energy brokerage, both essential
  • A proven track record of closing your own deals and managing the full sales cycle, from quote to contract
  • Strong working knowledge of the business energy market and supplier negotiation
  • A competitive spirit and a genuine hunger to grow your earnings
  • Confident objection handling and a professional telephone manner
  • Resilient and self-motivated, with the drive to run your own desk

Nice to have

  • What's in it for you
  • Basic salary up to £30,000 with fully uncapped personal commission
  • Structured induction and ongoing coaching, plus live market support
  • Paid birthday leave
  • Team incentives and performance-based rewards, including trips away for top performers
  • Company pension scheme
  • Free on-site parking
  • Company events and a supportive team environment
  • Real career progression within a growing, value-led business
  • Requirements
  • Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom
  • Must live within a reasonable commutable distance of WA1 1GG
  • Over one year of experience in both sales and energy brokerage
